Kobayashi Azusa was a member of the Hello! Project group Country Musume. She was only a member of the group for their first single, Futari no Hokkaido. After the death of fellow member Yanagihara Hiromi, Azusa left Country Musume because allegedly the pain of the loss was 'too great', though the real reason was that pictures of an adult nature surfaced.
