Miyoshi Chinatsu was a member of Hello! Project for a very short time. So far not much is known about her. She released three singles, appeared at a few concerts and appeared on TV shows "Idol wo Sagase" and "Hello! Morning". She also appeared in the movie Pinch Runner alongside Morning Musume. Chinatsu retired from Hello! Project on September of 2000.

Miyoshi Chinatsu was her stage name during her time in Hello! Project. Her real name is Chigi Rumiko (千木留美子).

In early 2005 she debuted in Korea, singing the ending theme to a Korean movie under the name Tani Rumiko (谷ルミコ). She also sang other songs on the soundtrack with a Korean band called "march".

On October 21, 2006 she married Korean singer Kim Jung Min.
